Hickory Small Animal Hospital

Hickory Small Animal Hospital opened its doors in March 2009 with the goal of offering the best veterinary care possible for you and your pet. We are a full service veterinary hospital offering the latest in diagnostic equipment and veterinary medical services.We are also the only veterinary hospital in Tangipahoa parish following the American Animal Hospital Association and American Association of Feline Practitioners three year vaccination guidelines. Our veterinarians are proud members of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association and American Association of Feline Practitioners. In 2014 we became the first and only AAHA Accredited hospital in Tangipahoa Parish. Since we opened our doors we have experienced rapid growth resulting in our hospital winning one the Fastest Growing LSU Alumni Owned/Operated Business in the World for both 2014 and 2015. To keep up with demand we added 225 square feet to our main building at the end of 2011, an additional 725 square feet to our kennel facility at the beginning of 2012. Also, in July 2013 we added an additional 635 square feet addition to our reception area and added a third exam room.
