The PVSEC Cancer Center combines all aspects of cancer treatment and diagnostics under one roof. Often, a combination of multiple types of treatments is the most effective way to obtain the best possible outcome. Diagnostic services include advanced on-site imaging to obtain digital x-rays, ultrasound, and CT and MRI for diagnosing, staging, and planning treatment. Treatments available include surgery to diagnose and remove tumors. medical oncology to treat residual or metastatic disease with chemotherapy, immunotherapy (such as the melanoma vaccine), or molecular therapy (such as Palladia). and radiation.
